The Element Edge Transformation
Element Federal Credit Union purchased the properties at 1611 and 1615 4th Avenue in October 2022. We immediately started the design phase and began construction in April 2023. We completed construction in February 2024. The finished product is more than we dreamed. We love our new home on the West Side of Charleston, West Virginia. The Element EDGE is outfitted with an impressive array of amenities to enhance your event experience:
- A striking 16-panel video wall, perfect for dynamic presentations, engaging videos, and vivid visuals, complemented by a full surround sound system.
- Customizable lighting to match the theme or mood of your event, allowing you to select the perfect color scheme to set the ambiance.
- Modern, gender-neutral, centrally located restroom facilities that prioritize energy efficiency, featuring four private bathrooms.
- A fully-equipped wet bar complete with commercial-grade coolers, a handwashing sink, an ice bin, and serving area, ready to cater to your guests’ needs.
Classroom Style
The Classroom Style setup comfortably seats 30 guests with tables and chairs, and can accommodate up to 80-90 guests by incorporating additional seating, pub tables with chairs, and standing spaces. Additionally, the Mezzanine on the 2nd floor (stair access only) offers an exclusive area that can host 20 to 25 guests, providing a versatile option for larger events or gatherings seeking varied seating and standing arrangements.
Mezzanine Space
The Mezzanine, perched on the 2nd floor (stair access only), offers a unique vantage point over the vibrant Element EDGE event space below. Available for independent rental or as a complement to the main Element EDGE venue, this intimate area is perfectly designed to host 20 to 25 guests. It comes furnished with pub tables and chairs, comfortable soft seating, and versatile standing spaces, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for a variety of events and gatherings.
Pod Style
The Pod Style setup is designed to comfortably accommodate 32 guests with tables and chairs, while also offering the flexibility to host up to 80-90 guests through the addition of extra chairs, pub tables with chairs, and designated standing areas. For events requiring a more intimate or exclusive space, the Mezzanine on the 2nd floor (stair access only) is an ideal option, with the capacity to welcome 20 to 25 guests. This arrangement ensures a versatile and adaptable environment for a wide range of gatherings and functions.
Pub Table Style
The Pub Table Style offers a dynamic and flexible arrangement with pub tables and stools, which can be configured in various layouts to best suit your event’s needs. This design comfortably accommodates 80 to 90 guests within the Element EDGE event space, providing a blend of casual standing areas complemented by seating options at the pub tables. The Element EDGE Computer Lab boasts an array of 12 PCs, available for flexible rental options. Whether you need a single PC, multiple units, or wish to reserve the entire room, we can accommodate your requirements to suit your needs.
